Make-A-Wish surprises 8-year-old in Camden, New Jersey – WPVI-TV

CAMDEN, New Jersey (WPVI)– Many assemble a desire list this time of year but very rarely does anyone get each and every single product on it.On Friday, one little boy in Camden, New Jersey, got to experience that joy.

COVID-19 was not going to stop this surprise go to for 8-year-old Antonio of Camden.

“A day like today is about family, and it's about coming together, especially this time of year and the year we have all had,” stated Michael Dominick with Make-A-Wish New Jersey. “Our hope is that a minute like this is not simply a minute, however a minute they will have the ability to re-live over and over once again.”

Make-A-Wish, in collaboration with Subaru and joined by the Camden County Police Department, provided some joy and developed smiles during a tough time in our country.Antonio, who is non-verbal autistic and has an uncommon type of cancer, was on the getting end of this Make-A-Wish convoy shipment in Camden.Antonio's mother, Rachel Mastalski, states he was detected with autism at the age of 3. Together with Asperger's and limited vocabulary, cancer came on April 13 of

this year.Antonio had no concept that these honorary vacation fairies would deliver his online shopping spree items

You do not see that a lot,”stated his daddy, Lewis Zayas.For decades, thanks to the help of millions of dollars in contributions, thousands of kids like Antonio, who are battling crucial health problems, get a little hope.And maybe, for a moment, ignore their discomfort. Kids and others like him can laugh with

joy, all enabled by one dream.

“They did this for my little young boy, and I really appreciate it due to the fact that our Christmas is going to be rough, you understand, but thanks to Make-A-Wish, we made it, “said Zayas.Since 2011, Make-A-Wish has gotten an overall of more than$23 million in donations through the yearly December Subaru Share the Love Event.These funds have enabled more than 2,500 kids like Antonio to experience the hope that a desire provides to children with vital diseases.
