A 37-year-old Camden woman was found shot
to death in a city house Sunday afternoon, authorities stated. Police found Lateemah Leavy dead from a gunshot injury in an upstairs bedroom at the house on the 2900 block of Congress Road, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Officers were at first dispatched to a report of a female not breathing around 12:30 p.m. at the home.
” Detectives continue to investigate the events that led up to Leavy's death,”the district attorney's workplace said in a declaration. Officials asked anybody with info to call prosecutor's office Detective Matt Barber at 856-225-5166 or Camden County Police Detective Shawn Donlon at 856-757-7400.
