An Elizabethtown chiropractic doctor was jailed Monday and charged with two sex offense felonies involving minors who were patients of his, according to an arrest citations.
Matthew J. Colasanti, 32, is charged with one count of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse of 2 ladies.
Colasanti operates Colasanti Chiropractic on Ring Road.
On Nov. 25, a juvenile woman relative of Colasanti told Elizabethtown cops that he offered to offer her a back change and while she was lying face down on a table, he apparently began to fondle her and after that raped her, according to an arrest citation.
The woman stated she leapt off an examination table and faced a restroom “till another adult worker came into the office so she could leave,” the citation stated.
According to detain citations, another reported victim, 16, was touched wrongly throughout practically all of her gos to while getting her back adjusted from April of this year through June. She had appointments once a week for three months and told cops that Colasanti “wouldn't touch her when she was generated the office by a grownup.”
The implicated would rub her butts under her clothing throughout the changes for upper pain in the back, the citation mentioned, along with touch other areas of her body and after that would make comments about her.
“We aren't making any presumptions about the possibility of other victims,” Elizabethtown Police Department spokesperson John Thomas said. “If there are other victims we advise them to come forward.”

First-degree rape is a Class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in jail, if founded guilty, while first-degree sexual abuse is a Class D felony punishable by one to 5 years in prison, if convicted.
Colasanti will be arraigned today in Hardin District Court on the charges. He is being held in lieu of a $25,000 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center.
