A winter storm that started Sunday and is expected to drop at least another foot of snow and possibly 24 inches in parts of the state before moving out is prompting school closures across New Jersey.
Many school districts were already operating on virtual learning plans or a hybrid of in-person and online classes due to the coronavirus outbreak and some have elected to continue with virtual classes when they might have otherwise given kids a snow day.
Here’s a list of schools that have made announcements related to weather in the county. It will be updated as additional announcements are made:
