Bensalem authorities are examining the murder of a chiropractic doctor who was discovered dead in his home office on Monday. Authorities were initially called to the 3100 block of Hulmeville Road, north of Street Road for a medical emergency and discovered 64-year-old James Sowa dead, according to a news release. Cops believe he died Monday in between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Sowa lived at the house where he likewise ran his chiropractic practice.
An autopsy found Sowa suffered blunt force trauma to the head and ruled the death a homicide, cops said.
On Thursday morning, a police car was parked in the driveway of the home office, which sits in between a vacant office and an animal healthcare facility. Cops tape could still be seen around the property.

Police are asking anybody with information on this examination or who saw any suspicious in the location of the 3100 block of Hulmeville Road around the time of the death to contact them at 215-633-3719.
