Bensalem police investigate homicide of chiropractor found dead inside home – WPVI-TV

BENSALEM, Pennsylvania (WPVI)– Police in Bucks County are investigating the death of a Bensalem chiropractor.Officers were contacted us to the 3100 block of Hulmeville Road, north of Street Road, on Monday, Nov. 2 for a medical emergency.

As soon as at the scene, they discovered the body of 64-year-old James Sowa.The Bucks County Coroner's Office ruled the death a homicide. Officials stated Sowa suffered blunt force injury to the head.WATCH: Action Cam Video From the Scene Authorities said Sowa resided at the home and operated his chiropractic practice there as well.His boy spoke with Action News through tears about his daddy's murder.” Our papa was the most kind, generous, diligent man there was,”said Kurt Sowa. “He was selfless, and he would offer
the shirt off his back for you. He didn't deserve this.” Detectives have been canvassing the house for clues.”It's an unusual case,”said Fred Harran, the director of Bensalem Township Police Department.Sowa lived in your house with his better half, Barbara, who stated she went to work that morning, never ever to see her husband once again.”He was simply a great man. To know him was to like him.

I can't say enough,” stated Barbara Sowa.”Simply was a great family male, and for this to happen to him. I'm much like there's a lot evil in the world because that was evil taking out great.”” This was a man, a local man, that was well known in our community, a local chiropractic specialist, a great person and had a dreadful death,” said Harran. The family stated the chiropractic organization has actually remained in the neighborhood for 40 years.”Who could do that to him, he was the best person ever,” stated Barbara Sowa.” He would have helped

anyone, his clients, he would run to anybody's home and help them with anything they needed.

“The family is advocating someone to come forward with details.”We enjoy him, and if you're out there, and you did this, you know we simply desire you to come forward, and turn yourself in. Our papa did not deserve this, he was a great male,”said Kurt Sowa.Police are asking anyone with details or who may have seen anything suspicious in the location between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 to call 215-633-3719.
